Together with a colleague, I established WildWatch Thailand in 2000 with the aim of offering high quality wilderness field
trips to a wide variety of participants from Thailand and abroad. Our business / conservation model was to provide
adventurous naturalists with an in-depth look at the natural history of Thailand and
the region through
"hands-on" experiences in the field, the use of expert guides, and linkages
with active conservation and research efforts.
From its inception, WildWatch has diverted a portion of its income to conservation
and rural development projects. Our main initial focus was on offering trips and supporting conservation and sustainable development in and around Erawan National Park in Western Thailand. The company's current activities and offerings can be found here.
